Polaris is one of the major Protocol Labs (PL) Infrastructure teams that focuses on network growth, effectiveness & health. LabOS, the product function within Polaris, is a pioneering social graph for the Protocol Labs’ network that enables members in the network to find and connect with others, making it easier to collaborate across mission-critical technologies.

The goal of LabOS is to become a foundational social, knowledge & coordination stack for the PL network, enabling the building of broad and deep connections.

Job Description:

As the Product Operations Lead for LabOS, you will be instrumental in refining our product delivery processes and enhancing the operational backbone of our products. Your expertise in operations management will be crucial in automating and improving major flows such as our directory onboarding and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and enhance our current directory onboarding and engagement flows, implementing automation where beneficial.
• Overhaul existing project management & operational processes, metrics collection, and reporting systems to provide actionable insights.
• Be the front desk for member relationship management for LabOS - lead user interviews, user onboarding & steward feedback sessions.
• Help establish, develop & maintain product feedback loops crucial for developing early adoption programs.
• Manage relationships with existing product advisors to ensure timely communications regarding new capabilities such as our new LLM product.
• Address and manage legal compliance issues related to product development and deployment.
• Data wrangling - add & update members, teams, and projects new to the network. Use existing tools to extract, manipulate & draw insights from data.

Skills and Experience:

Must-Haves:

• 4+ years experience in strategy and product operations, particularly in tech or startup environments.
• Strong technical acumen with an understanding of web technologies and product lifecycle management.
• Demonstrated ability to improve operational processes and implement systems that enhance productivity.
• Data-driven approach with a proven track record in utilizing analytics to inform process improvements.
• Ability to work independently with a high level of agency and a results-driven mindset.

Should-Haves:

• Experience in managing by influence. Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and build/manage external relationships.
• Strategic thinking skills with the ability to plan and deploy processes efficiently.
• Ability to build rapport with technical founders or high-agency individuals specifically in an incubator, developer community, or innovation network setting.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in a remote team environment.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Previous experience in a high-growth tech startup.
• Bonus points for prior experience in web3.
• Familiarity with legal compliance issues in the tech industry.
