What you’ll do

• Conduct human iPSC culture, including cell line maintenance, expansion, and cryopreservation.
• Assist in iPSC line development, iPSC differentiation and characterization.
• Collaborate with team members on large-scale cell preparation for high throughput screening.
• Perform immunocytochemistry, qPCR, Western blots, and other hands-on wet lab techniques.
• Detailed record keeping in electronic laboratory notebook.
• Concise and effective reporting and presentation of data.
• Participate in routine laboratory tasks, including reagent preparation, equipment maintenance, and supply management.

What you’ll bring

• A B.S. or M.S degree in life sciences, e.g., Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field with 4+ years of R&D experience.
• Excellent cell culture skills and strong background culturing and banking human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) is required.
• Experience with culturing primary or iPSC-derived neurons is preferred.
• Familiarity with molecular biology and protein analysis techniques for cell characterization including immunocytochemistry, qPCR, western blot and/or functional cell-based assays, is desirable.
• Experience performing high-throughput experiments with liquid handling instrumentation and automation is preferred.
• Excellent recording, organizational, and planning skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player with the ability to work independently

Compensation range:

• $80K-$105K
