Job Description

At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, located in our Omaha office, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

The Acquisition & Engagement team is dedicated to driving scaled sales motions to support LinkedIn’s small business members, from acquisition to upsell. This is a growing team focused on driving impact at scale by finding the most effective ways to reach and support our small business customers. While the team continues to evolve, the emphasis is on refining our approach to engagement—testing what works, scaling best practices, and delivering value through meaningful customer interactions. This team supports all SaaS Online Solutions, including LTS, LLS, and LSS.

We’re looking for an Acquisition & Engagement Consultant to join our team and focus on driving growth through real-time chat. In this role, you’ll engage directly with customers, help shape our sales approach and deliver high-impact experiences that contribute to revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with prospects and customers via real-time chat, experimenting with new approaches to drive engagement and conversion.
  • Gather and provide actionable feedback on the effectiveness of various sales strategies, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with your Manager and team members to refine sales processes and contribute to a scalable playbook
  • Conduct outreach to SMB prospects, effectively communicating the value of LinkedIn’s products and services to drive adoption and engagement.
  • Document sales interactions, learnings, and outcomes to support the iteration and scaling of successful sales motions.
  • Participate in team meetings to share insights and discuss findings from pilot initiatives.
  • Analyze data from sales activities to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for optimization
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of LinkedIn’s product suite and tailor value propositions to meet the unique needs of prospects.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to support evolving business needs and priorities.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in sales, customer success, or a related field


Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in inbound sales or live chat engagement in a SaaS environment
  • Strong written communication skills and ability to build trust quickly over chat
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to turn real-time insights into action
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, pilot-driven environments
  • Proactive, self-starter with a passion for innovation and improving the customer experience
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn products and services is a plus

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.The pay range for this role is $60,000 to $85,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
