The vision of LinkedIn’s Marketing Solutions (LMS) business is to create economic growth for every organization worldwide by helping marketers reach, engage and convert their audiences at scale.
Through sponsored content in the feed (video, lead-generation forms, connected TV, carousel ads), personalized messages to your LinkedIn inbox (InMail), LinkedIn Events/Live and many other innovative formats, LinkedIn is transforming B2B (Business 2 Business) and high-consideration B2C (Business 2 Customer) marketing.
As a Senior Account Director, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a sales strategy that will assist in hitting growth targets by unlocking new business opportunities with our current customer base. Leveraging your extensive digital sales experience, you'll provide data-driven marketing strategies, acting as a trusted advisor to our enterprise clients.
This role focuses specifically on accelerating growth amongst existing enterprise clients within China market for their export business. The candidate we are looking for is a senior individual contributor who is client centric, a solutions driven self-starter excited by the challenge of partnering customers early in their LinkedIn Marketing Solutions journey.
At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimised for culture, connection, clarity and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

Responsibilities:
- Build trusted advisor relationships with senior stakeholders and CXOs in customer businesses and media agencies via phone, emails, events, and social selling to secure media budgets.
- Reach and exceed sales quotas while contributing to overall vertical and team goals.
- Understand clients' business challenges, competitive environments, and success metrics to create effective campaign strategies.
- Craft sales narratives covering digital marketing, content marketing, branding, and lead generation to help clients achieve their objectives.
- Execute sales plans, provide forecasts, manage pipelines, balance leads, maintain CRM hygiene, ensure customer engagement, and demonstrate systems proficiency.
- Evangelize LinkedIn through attendance and speaking engagements at customer events.
- Lead as a disciplined business manager, mapping out success for a portfolio of clients.
- Deliver a consultative sales approach for each client to meet their marketing objectives.
- Lead with insights through client research, industry-specific information, and trends.
Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in advertising, sales, marketing, consulting, or media
- 5+ years B2B digital media sales experience in unlocking new business units/subsidiaries
- Experience dealing with CMO / Media Director when closing deals
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results through close collaboration with C-level and senior customers, building multithreaded relationships across customer organisation
- Demonstrated success in excelling within a target-driven environment, adept at managing CRM for the sales process
- Ability to drive results and build relationships across multiple client levels.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and win deals via consultative selling
- Data driven storyteller - leveraging data insights to engage and convince client action and investment
- Strong understanding / experience of China media agency landscape a plus
- CRM and Engagement Tools (SFDC, Salesloft, Gong) experience a plus
- Understanding of internet advertising technology and marketing automation.
