Job Description

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

Role Description:

The LinkedIn Talent Solutions Sales Enablement Team is looking for a Leadership Development Consultant who will be responsible for enabling sales managers and senior leaders with the skills and knowledge to drive growth and deliver customer value. This role will be responsible for operationalizing a culture of coaching across the Talent Solutions sales organization.

As one of the owners of the Leader Journey, this position offers an exciting opportunity to be embedded in the business as the Coach’s Coach and Sales Leadership operations subject matter expert – acting as a trusted partner to Sales Leaders and Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides Sales Leadership expertise by building and embedding coaching & leadership leadership development programs with Field Managers and Leaders to ensure proper adoption of coaching practices at all leadership levels
  • Examines sales field work, priorities, and the environment to determine where and how to tie in coaching and other leadership development opportunities that deliver measurable outcomes for the business
  • Facilitates LTS coaching adoption including workshops, group coaching and 1:1 coaching sessions focused on coaching for sales performance (pipeline health, forecasting, deal reviews, account strategy, and territory planning)
  • Collaborates with Talent Development to build programming for sales leaders that reflects LinkedIn’s leadership expectations framework
  • Partners with the GTM Enablement’s Center of Excellence on Manager onboarding for LinkedIn Talent Solutions
  • Establishes strong, trust-based relationships with internal GTM and sales enablement leadership, working team, cross-functional partners, and executive stakeholders
  • Measures and shares progress and feedback against global programming
  • Observes Managers and Leaders coaching direct reports, provides feedback to improve Leader’s coaching skills in order to drive stronger performance and impact
  • Leads the execution of key events with a focus on coaching & practice (i.e. team offsites/coaching summits)


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Management experience
  • 6+ years of experience in related roles: enablement, consulting, coaching, sales, program management, sales strategy, change management
  • 2+ years experience in facilitating learning content to team(s), either within current role or as a stand-alone role


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coaching certification or accreditation and proven experience in driving a culture of coaching and practice (via references, testimonials, PMR, etc.)
  • Demonstrated track record of coaching to sales outcomes
  • Demonstrated track record of building learning programs to develop sales leadership skills
  • Effective sales coaching skills and ability to unlock those skills in others from individual contributors to VPs
  • Strong facilitation skills with the ability to take command of a room, experience leading senior leader enablement programs
  • Strategic thinker who is able to see the entire system, and make recommendations accordingly for subsystems
  • Knowledge of adult learning, learning design, program development/management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in fast-paced, high-growth, matrixed environments
  • Demonstrated ability to build programming that is innovative and effective in driving business outcomes
  • Experience with change management and leading organizational transformation
