We are seeking a trustworthy and organized Chief of Staff to collaborate closely with our CEO. As his closest partner, you will play a crucial role in executing key initiatives, fostering communication with key partners and investors, and contributing to the overall success of Kiln.
Responsibilities:

Prioritise and support key initiatives
Identify key projects the CEO should focus on and provide support with research and project management work. This can go all the way to you taking ownership of a new initiative leveraging financial and human resources provided by Kiln
Help drive the strategic growth of the company by tracking, measuring, and driving the implementation of objectives and key results
Participate in building the culture and processes with the leadership team and VP People

Manage strategic communication
Handle incoming communication through various channels including emails and social networks where we interact regularly with key partners, prospects, and investors to support business development, hiring fundraising, and other key strategic initiatives
Lead investor communications: you will be preparing and communicating investor updates, and leading the preparation of board meetings
Evaluate and manage incoming requests to enable focus on the highest-value opportunities
Requirements:

At least 2 years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas:
Top management consulting firms or investment banks
Operations, Finance, or Partnerships departments at startups or scale-ups with a track record of contributing to the growth and success of early-stage companies
Ability to navigate into complex business environments and contribute strategically to organizational goals
Strong financial acumen, project management, and analytical skills
Perfectly fluent in both English and French

A solid understanding of the blockchain and cryptocurrency industry (even from personal research)

A personality match with Laszlo (CEO) and the leadership is key to being successful in this role, so we’re looking for :

Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate smooth interaction with extremely various stakeholders

Nice-to-have:
Professional experience in a blockchain or crypto company
Fast-growing start-up experience / Experience in running a small business unit
