Job Description
We are seeking a highly autonomous Accountant who will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial records. This position manages daily accounting operations, monthly and annual closing processes and leads audit preparation in a dynamic manufacturing scale-up environment.
Responsibilities:
Lead accounting operations of the Swiss entity (others might be added)
Manage end-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Ensure the relevant communication with all external and internal stakeholders
Maintain general ledger integrity at each given date
Manage proper expense classification and cost allocation
Lead monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes, including the yearly audit
Ensure compliance with Swiss tax regulations (VAT, withholding tax, etc.)
Support payroll reconciliation in coordination with HR and external providers
Participate in the consolidation of financial statements
Strengthen accounting processes and internal controls
Monitor inventory accounting and supply chain-related financial flows
Provide advisory to Corintis’ management team
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or alternative education in a related field
Min 5 years of knowledge of the Swiss accounting and tax environment
Solid understanding of start-up dynamics and scale-up environments
Experience in manufacturing and supply chain finance are a strong plus, but at minimum interest in high-tech and innovation-driven industries
Strong motivation to improve and automate accounting processes
Experience working in an international environment
Valid Swiss work permit (or eligibility to work in Switzerland)
Fluent in English; French is a plus
