Job Description

Join us as a People Business Partner, where you'll have the opportunity to architect how performance, trust, and leadership scale. You will solve meaningful problems, support leaders in navigating team decisions, and help to further shape how we operate as a people team, enabling the company to grow.

You are aware of what is means to run HR as a product team, ie focusing on outcomes rather than input.

This role is perfect for someone with 5+ years of experience in HRBP/PBP roles and as a Head of People, and who’s eager to help the team scale and to leverage automation to amplify the team’s impact.

You'll bring an experimental mindset and hands-on experience with a knack for tools, optimization and team efficiency. Your ability to bring structure to complexity—connecting insights to practical, scalable processes—will be key as we align our team’s work with broader business priorities.

You will oversee an HR operations specialist and an intern.

If you’re comfortable in a fast-changing environment, values autonomy and ownership, and enjoys building systems as much as building relationships—this role could be a great fit.

Things You’ll Do

  • Lead the charge in making our People Department efficient and effective; ie, identify and address friction points in People-related processes (onboarding, performance, payroll, etc.) and lead improvement and automation initiatives.
  • Work directly with senior leaders to support org design and team changes, ensuring decisions align with business goals and team effectiveness.
  • Analyze people metrics and data, to translate insights into strategic actions that improve team health and performance & most importantly, you will act on them
  • Advise on people challenges, offering thoughtful, timely support that balances empathy with sound judgment and business context.
  • Develop strong, trusted relationships with leaders and stakeholders, becoming a reliable partner who understands both people and business needs.
  • Stay flexible and solutions-focused in fast-changing environments, helping the team navigate ambiguity and make progress even when the path isn’t clear.
  • Oversee our Talent Acquisition efforts, from building and EVP to ensuring our ATS is used efficiently, and that our TA effort with external partners is efficient.
  • Oversee payroll processes.
  • Maintain & improve the use our of HR tech stack with the help of our HR operations specialist: Personio & TeamTailor

About You

  • You have 5+ years of experience as a HRBP/Head of People, working closely with senior leaders to support their teams.
  • You’ve partnered with technical teams (engineering, product, design) and understand their pace, operating norms and challenges.
  • You embrace an Automation mindset, always on the lookout for way and tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
  • You know how to build trust with senior leaders, balancing business needs with employee experience and doing both with sound judgment.
  • You're data-savvy, turning engagement surveys and people metrics into actionable insights that drive business decisions.
  • You navigate complex situations with sound judgment and empathy, ensuring both individual and business needs are met.
  • You communicate with clarity and confidence, tailoring your message to influence diverse audiences.

This is a great fit if:

  • You create the structures where culture and performance can thrive, you’re not here to “own culture”.
  • You believe in finding mutual benefits between employees and company.
  • You bring system-thinking, clarity, and execution — with a bias for tools, automatization, documentation, and scalable processes.
  • You have a track record of scaling performance and culture without burnout or bureaucracy.

This won’t be the right role for you if:

  • You believe policies is the way to do things in HR and the go-to solution.
  • You want HR to be the problem-owner, rather than an enabler for others to own and solve problems.
  • You’re not curious when people leaders approach you, because your skill it to really understand the topic that need answering most quickly.
