Corintis is a startup that is a provider of advanced semiconductor cooling technologies. Some of the biggest challenges of our lifetime, from climate modeling to drug discovery, constantly require more computing power. More powerful chips generate more heat; extracting this heat is a major challenge for our future.

Current cooling systems are not only limited but also wasteful; cooling data centers consume more power than London and New York combined. At Corintis, we remove these limitations by integrating cooling directly inside the chip. We enable the sustainable computing of the future to address the biggest global challenges.

Working at Corintis

Based on the EPFL campus near Lausanne, we are closely connected to the local ecosystem and are located a few minutes walk from Lake Geneva.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in setting up and running simulations using our CFD optimization software.
  • Work with our development team to identify and troubleshoot technical issues in our software.
  • Aid in the execution of customer projects by conducting simulations/optimizations and/or parametric studies.
  • Develop and deliver software documentation, tutorials and webinars to help customers understand and use our Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) optimization software.
  • Post-process the simulation data by creating comparative plots and preparing comprehensive reports.
  • Contribute to the development of new features and enhancements for our CFD optimization software by providing feedback and suggestions.
  • Attend and present at industry events and trade shows to promote our software and to keep up to date with the latest trends and technologies in CFD.
  • Work with our sales team to provide technical expertise and support during the sales process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in CFD with commercial/open-source CFD software such as ANSYS, Simscale, StarCCM+, COMSOL or OpenFOAM.
  • Experience in writing high-quality technical documentation, such as software tutorials or manuals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to customers with varying levels of expertise.
  • Fluent in English
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python.
  • Experience with topology optimization is a plus.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently or in a team environment.
