We are seeking a motivated Product Manager to join our team and work on advanced solutions to address the cooling challenges of next-generation AI chips.

About us:

Corintis is a provider of advanced semiconductor cooling technologies. Some of the biggest challenges of our lifetime, from climate modeling to drug discovery, require ever-increasing computing resources. As more specialized and powerful chips are being deployed in data centers all over the world, the efficient cooling of these large computing clusters has become a major economic and environmental concern, the electricity consumption devoted to data center cooling in the near future is estimated to match the combined consumption of London and New York. Moreover, next-generation chip designs are expected to be limited by current cooling technologies.

At Corintis, we address these challenges by integrating cooling directly inside the silicon chip. By doing so, we aim to enable the sustainable future of computing and allow other innovators to work on the biggest global challenges. Today, we are working alongside some of the biggest names in the industry to enable the next generation of sustainable high-performance data centers.

About the opportunity:

The candidate will be directly involved in the Product Management of our internal software platform “Glacierware” used to design our cooling solutions as well as our advanced test equipment and hardware offering. This role will directly interact with some of the world's largest tech companies pushing the boundaries of AI chips and infrastructure.

About the role:

  • Product management of our internal cooling solutions software “Glacierware” by prioritizing feature release cycles based on customer requirements and the workload of the software development team.
  • Product management of our advanced thermal testing equipment used to simulate next-generation chips.
  • Product management of our standardized product portfolio of cooling loops with our cold plates.
  • Develop and drive the product vision strategy and roadmap for all of the above products planned based on identified customer needs, market trends, and a deep understanding of the competitive landscape.
  • Act as the voice of the customer within the organization, ensuring customer satisfaction is at the core of product decisions.
  • Support the future sales and marketing teams with product expertise, including the development of sales tools, training, and customer-facing materials.
  • Work across departments and closely with our application engineering team to manage and support product releases, customer onboarding, and customer support.

The ideal profile will have the following key skills:

  • Product Vision and Strategy: Ability to define and communicate a clear vision and strategy for the SW product and different HW solutions. This involves understanding market needs, identifying opportunities, and setting long-term goals.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Skills in gathering and analyzing market data, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to inform product decisions and prioritize features.
  • Technical Understanding: While not necessarily a coding expert, having a solid understanding of technology and software development processes helps in making informed decisions and communicating effectively with development teams. Ideally experience in the area of simulation software (e.g., ANSYS Fluent, Simscale, COMSOL, STAR-CCM+). Preferably for solving Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Conjugate Heat Transfer (CHT) simulations, as well as familiarity and understanding of fluid dynamics and thermodynamics as they apply to heat transfer in HW solutions. As well as the front-end SW development and UX design.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with various teams. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and negotiate are crucial.
  • Customer Focus: A deep understanding of customer needs and pain points. This involves gathering and interpreting customer feedback, conducting user interviews, and ensuring the product addresses real problems.
  • Prioritization and Decision-Making: Ability to translate complex technical requirements into actionable development tasks. Ability to prioritize features and tasks based on their impact and value, and make informed decisions that balance customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility. Proficiency in creating and maintaining a product backlog, ensuring that it reflects the product's priorities and business value.
  • Financial & Business Acumen: Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial metrics to ensure the product is developed and marketed within financial constraints and aligns with business goals.
  • Excellent communication skills in English as this role will almost entirely involve interaction with US-based customers.

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s/Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience with product managing complex engineering B2B software products is a major plus.
  • Prior experience working with products sold to the data center industry is a major plus.
  • Prior experience in product managing thermal solutions is a major plus.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex products from conception through to market launch and beyond.
  • Min 8-10 years of industry experience with 5 years+ of prior Product Management experience
  • Willingness to occasionally travel to represent Corintis at major tradeshows.

What we offer:

  • A dynamic, flexible, innovative, and multicultural work environment bridging the gap between cutting-edge academia and a deep tech startup.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and development.
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Activity rate: 100%
  • Location: On-site, Corintis SA (Building C), EPFL innovation park, Switzerland
