About the opportunity:

We are looking for a highly experienced VP of Manufacturing to lead our domestic manufacturing operations and international supply chain as part of our rapidly growing team. The candidate will have a unique opportunity to work on leading-edge projects in partnership with some of the world's largest technology companies at the forefront of GPUs & AI chips.

Corintis is a provider of advanced semiconductor cooling technologies. Some of the biggest challenges of our lifetime, from climate modeling to drug discovery, require ever-increasing computing resources. As more specialized and powerful chips are being deployed in data centers all over the world, the efficient cooling of these large computing clusters has become a major economic and environmental concern.

In fact, the electricity consumption devoted to data center cooling in the near future is estimated to match the combined consumption of London and New York. Moreover, next-generation chip designs are expected to be limited by current cooling technologies.

At Corintis, we address these challenges by integrating cooling directly inside the silicon chip or by integrating our patent-pending technology inside of specialist cold plates. By doing so, we aim to enable the sustainable computing of the future and allow other innovators to work on the biggest global challenges. Today, we are working alongside some of the biggest names in the industry to enable the next generation of sustainable, high-performance data centers.

About the role:

• Set up, commission and operate a Swiss-based manufacturing operation.
• Work with and manage our Asian-based supply chain specialist to set up and integrate our own Swiss supply chain into our Asian-based supply chain.
• Lead all activities related to manufacturing supply chain, QA, yield, and production targets.
• Work closely with our Hardware engineering team to support them in design for Manufacturing
• Directly interact with the souring teams at our largest customers and ensure compliance with all of their supplier terms
• Manage large volume shipments of products for various large customers around the globe
• P&L responsibility for all costs linked to manufacturing

The ideal profile for us:

• At least 10 years of experience in a senior manufacturing role, with a proven track record in setting up and managing manufacturing & supply chain operations, a background in the electronics or automotive sector is a plus.
• Prior experience managing manufacturing operations for products containing pressurized liquids is a plus. Experience in manufacturing microfluidic devices is an additional bonus.
• Excellent understanding of global supply chain management and logistics as well as geopolitical associated manufacturing risks and tariffs.
• Experience with metal 3D printing and other advanced metal manufacturing processes is a major plus.
• Familiarity with manufacturing regulations and standards in Switzerland and Asia.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English. Additional language skills relevant to the Swiss and Asian markets are a plus.
• An educational background in mechanical/electronics engineering is valued.
• Familiarity with process improvement methodologies e.g. Six Sigma, Total Quality Management - TQM, Lean, Kaizen, Agile etc.
• Past experience managing Swiss-based manufacturing facilities is a plus.
• Strong relationship management, strategy development, project management, problem solving and change management skills.
• Willingness to travel to Asia & around Europe
