The VP of Marketing is responsible for helping deliver our commercial strategy and build a profile of the company. This role reports to the Chief Commercial Officer.
Key responsibilities:
Utilizing cross-functional support, design, develop and deliver a marketing strategy around the launch of the ASPYRE panel for NSCLC and future ASPYRE products for our US CLIA laboratory
Utilizing cross-functional support, design, develop and deliver a marketing strategy around the global launch of the ASPYRE panel for NSCLC and future ASPYRE products for our RUO reagent business & future FDA cleared reagents
Work closely with Chief Commercial Officer and the Chief Medical Officer in building engagement with leading key opinion leaders within Oncology and diagnostic laboratories
Work with product development team to develop the product roadmap
Increase brand awareness through development and implementation of cohesive marketing plan
Lead, manage and develop a high performing marketing team and work cross-functionally with all key departments to ensure the marketing strategy is cohesive, robust and delivers on the product forecast.
Conduct market research and implementing new strategies based upon findings
Closely monitor competitor’s successes and failures and learn from them
Develop, launch monitor, scrutinize, and improve marketing campaigns as needed
Oversee and set goals for internal teams, both short and long term
Analyze hiring needs and markets in order to identify opportunities for improvement
Preparing and executing annual budget with quarterly updates to Chief Commercial Officer
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:
Keen interest in novel technologies, with a desire to work with a small but rapidly growing team
Knowledge and practical experience with SEO, digital marketing tools (HubSpot) and related software
Highly observant, analytical, and ability to incorporate key stakeholder feedback into marketing strategy and plans
Strong leadership skills and the ability to make difficult decisions
Excellent communication, and interpersonal abilities
Excellent PP presentation skills
Willing to travel
Requisite Education and Experience/Minimum Qualifications:
BSc in marketing, or life sciences or similar field
Master’s degree preferable
5+ years product launch experience within life sciences or diagnostics, CLIA
Superb marketing and research skills
Strong background with marketing automation systems (HubSpot preferred)
Experience building and developing KOL network at pace
Experience managing external agency support
The expected, full-time, annual base salary range for this position is $220,000-$280,000. The actual base salary will vary based on factors including qualifications, experience and location. At Biofidelity, we take a market-based approach to compensation to ensure we are objective, equitable and competitive.
